Japan's first permanent electric mobility experience facility "e-Mobility Park Tokyo Tama" opens on November 29th!

Background to the opening of Japan's first permanent e-mobility experience facility

Toward the realization of "Zero Emission Tokyo," Tokyo aims to eliminate gasoline from all new motorcycles sold in the city by 2035.

As part of the "e-Mobility Promotion Project," a pioneering initiative aimed at eliminating gasoline from motorcycles, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is opening Japan's first permanent e-mobility experience facility, "e-Mobility Park Tokyo Tama," to launch an e-mobility experience service supported by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

Various types of e-mobility vehicles have emerged in recent years, and the number of vehicles sold is expected to continue to increase. This facility, where visitors can test drive and experience these vehicles, will provide a casual opportunity for a wide range of people, from those aged 16 and over to seniors, to experience e-mobility.

Furthermore, by offering a diverse lineup of over 20 models, including the latest models and license-free vehicles, visitors can experience the joy of e-mobility and envision how they might be utilized in their daily lives.

At "e-Mobility Park Tokyo Tama," you can easily and safely enjoy a wide variety of over 20 vehicle models.

Our facility offers a wide variety of e-mobility experiences. We offer a wide variety of models, including small motorized bicycles (available to anyone aged 16 or older without a license), motorized bicycles for commuting and delivery, and standard motorcycles for recreational use.

In addition to experiencing these vehicles, we also offer training sessions on traffic rules and etiquette for each vehicle category. The experience area features obstacles that mimic actual road conditions, such as slopes and gratings, allowing for an experience similar to driving in the city.

On public roads, consideration for one's own safety and those around one's surroundings is important, and it is essential to foster a sense of safe and responsible driving.

From this perspective, we aim to create an environment that combines safety and responsibility in addition to fun and ease, and we have established a system that allows you to use the vehicle with confidence, even from the vehicle selection stage.
