  • In principle, you must drive on the left side of the road. You must not drive on the right side (the wrong way around).
  • Two-seater riding is prohibited.
    (Only for specified small mopeds, special specified small mopeds, and mopeds of the first class. Mobility levels above this vary depending on the vehicle.)
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol is prohibited by law.
  • You need to get a license plate.
  • Riding on the sidewalk is prohibited in principle.
  • Pedestrians have the right of way at crosswalks, and bicycles have the right of way at bicycle crossings. The same applies to intersections without crosswalks.
