  • As a general rule, drive on the left side of the road. Do not drive on the right (reverse direction).
  • Riding with two people is prohibited.
    (Specified small mopeds, special small mopeds, and one type of moped only.More mobility varies depending on the vehicle)
  • Drinking and driving is prohibited by law.
  • It is necessary to obtain a license plate.
  • In principle, riding on sidewalks is prohibited.
  • Pedestrians have priority at crosswalks, and bicycles have priority in bicycle crossing zones. The same applies to intersections without crosswalks.
